High Touch High Tech:
Science Education In A FUN Way Through Hands-on Exploration!

High Touch High Tech delivers 90 minute, in-school science field trips that transform your classroom into a Living Laboratory! Kids become a scientist and learn by doing the actual experiments. These programs are totally hands-on and totally participatory by each child.

And because our programs are centered on the individual child's experience, many programs can be adapted, upon request, to meet the needs of other grade levels as well.

Our experiments are structured to use materials that are safe and easy to identify. Students can duplicate many of these experiments at home with their parents.


High Touch High Tech has in-school field trips in the physical science, life science, and earth science areas. Most programs address at least on standard of the Science Framework for California Public Schools.

In-school field trip FAQ

Question: What types of programs do you offer?
Answer: High Touch High Tech offers in-school field trips within all of the major science domains - physical science, life science, and earth science.

Question: We need a hands-on activity - do all children participate?
Answer: High Touch High Tech programs are not shows; they are supply-intensive experiences. All children participate, and most programs have a take-home component.

Question: What do your programs cost?
Answer: $8.00 per student, $225 minimum per visit.

Question: Do you have activities appropriate for preschoolers? What is the minimum age that you serve?
Answer: High Touch High Tech offers modified in-school field trips for preschoolers. Typically the minimum age is 4 years old. Please visit our preschool page for more information.
